Richard Nicholls has been a photographer for many years and uses a variety of equipment, both film and digital. For his reportage style photography he prefers the flexibility and control that digital offers, not only whilst shooting but also as part of the post event processing. He believes that it is important to have control of the whole image making process so that the final image represents what was intended when the picture was taken. Richard's photography on a more personal and creative front is in the format of black & white Fine Art pictures. A gallery of current images can be viewed at www.richardnicholls.co.uk. His work is frequently displayed in local exhibitions and galleries. Nick Hadley bought his first SLR and began studying photography while at university in London in the early 1990s. He has used a variety of cameras, from the 35mm SLR's he started with, through to Medium Format vintage cameras and more recently has been using Digital SLRs. He still prefers black and white film to digital and does his own developing. Nick favours the reportage style and taking photographs of people is his main passion. Nick's other work can be viewed at www.bugblog.co.uk In addition to being a photographer, Nick builds and maintains websites for a major catalogue company.
